Jimmy Day - General Manager: Ex-IT geek and trained chef, Jimmy opened the Domain Day cellar door in Williamstown at the ripe old age of 27. Being son of a winemaker and wine brat from a young age, he always held an interest in the wine industry, working in the vineyard and as a cellarhand in his teens. Despite a career in computer science, Jimmy went on to study commercial cookery which reinvigorated his passion for wine and he hung up the apron and went on the road for Domain Day talking about what he loves. After promoting the brand in the eastern states, Jimmy returned to renovate the old Williamstown Institute, transforming it into a charming cellar door which opened in 2008. With Robin needing no help to produce great wines, Jimmy focuses on the business and is particularly passionate about promoting harmonious food-wine matching, elegant cool climate styles and emerging varieties. |

Cynthia Koch - South Australian Sales Manager: Cynthia joined Domain Day in 2009 after spending many years abroad in international sales and marketing roles. She decided to head home to the Barossa Valley with her family and see what the wine industry had to offer. Starting with cellar door, Cynthia learned the ropes quickly and was eager to take over sales throughout South Australia, building many great relationships throughout the state. She has significantly increased the brand's awareness locally, and even though Robin and Jimmy know she's really the boss now, they couldn't be happier with the public face of Domain Day! |
